Cado inspired versatile and flexible wall shelving unit comes with three shelves and slightly longer rails that allow shelf height combinations of 12 in. (11.25 in. clear) or 16 in. (15.25 in. clear). Adjust them as your needs change. Shelves are 32 in. long and 10 in. deep. The slim profile is complimented with finer details that make these shelves stand out while not getting in the way of your collections. Each shelf attaches to the solid walnut rail with solid walnut brackets that are reinforced with steel braces. Included screws are used to secure the brackets to the rails and the shelves to the brackets. Customize your shelves by choosing between solid brass, stainless steel or black oxide screws. Add another rail and more shelves (purchased separately, see store for more details) and multiply your options. Shelves can support a full load of books (approx. 40 lbs.) or similarly weighted loads with out noticeable deflection.

INSTALLATION NOTES: This shelving system is designed around the standard spacing of wall studs of traditional residential wall construction (16 in.) Rails should be fastened to the wall studs for ultimate strength. Wood screws are provided for this purpose. If your desired layout does not match up with framing member locations wall anchors are an acceptable option. Strength and load capacity will depend on the individual anchor used.

MATERIALS: Shelving units are made out of a combination of solid wood (rails, brackets, shelf edging) and high quality FSC Certified plywood (shelves). All wood pieces are finished with an all natural no VOC finish.
